This Privacy Policy describes how Foldr ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our mobile application Foldr — Smart PDF Scanner ("App") and our website at foldr.website ("Website").
By using the App or Website, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to provide and improve our services:
- Documents and scans: Files you scan, import, or create within the App are stored locally on your device. We do not access, upload, or store your documents on our servers unless you explicitly use a cloud sync feature.
- Usage data: We collect anonymous analytics data (such as feature usage, crash reports, and session information) through Google Analytics and Apple analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve functionality.
- Device information: We may collect non-personal technical data such as device type, operating system version, and app version for diagnostic purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

3. Subscriptions and Payments
Foldr Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All payment transactions are handled exclusively by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment card information. Your subscription purchase is governed by Apple's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Subscription options include:
- Weekly — $7.99 per week
- Monthly — $9.99 per month
- Yearly — $39.99 per year
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
4. Camera and Photo Library Access
To scan documents, the App requires access to your device camera. To import photos, the App requests access to your photo library. These permissions are only used to provide core app functionality. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device Settings → Privacy.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your documents are stored locally on your device. We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect any information we do process. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Third-Party Services
The App and Website use the following third-party services that may collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics — website and app analytics (privacy policy)
- Apple App Store / In-App Purchases — payment processing (privacy policy)
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete such information.
