Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Foldr — Smart PDF Scanner application ("App") or the website at foldr.website ("Website").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License to Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes as permitted by the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

2. Subscriptions

The App offers optional auto-renewable subscription plans ("Foldr Premium") that unlock additional features:

• Weekly — $7.99 per week
• Monthly — $9.99 per month
• Yearly — $39.99 per year

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.

No refunds are provided for any unused portion of a subscription period, except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not use the App to:

• Scan, reproduce, or distribute copyrighted materials without authorization
• Create or distribute fraudulent, forged, or misleading documents
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App

4. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written permission.

Your documents and scans remain your property. We claim no ownership over files you create or import using the App.

5. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF DOCUMENTS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services (such as iCloud, Google Drive, or Dropbox). Your use of such services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.

The App is available through the Apple App Store. Your use is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

9. Changes to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any portion thereof) at any time. We may also update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Termination

These Terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any provision. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete it from your devices.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
